Teen Artistic Discovery Series

SLC Arts invites students from across the county to register for their 6-week Teen Artistic Discovery Series in Potsdam! This program is made possible through funding from the St. Lawrence County Youth Bureau.

The Teen Artistic Discovery Series will run from July 8th to August 16th, Monday-Friday. Morning sessions will run from 9 to 12 pm and afternoon sessions will run from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. Registration is $100/week for half-days, or $175/week for full days. Ages 11-17. All registrations include a $50 non-refundable deposit. 

Week 1 (July 8- July 12): Mixed Media Arts Exploration (AM) and Woodworking (PM)

Week 2 (July 15- July 19): Creative Writing (AM) and Poetry (PM)

Week 3 (July 22- July 26): Movement (AM) and Theatre (PM)

Week 4 (July 29- August 2): Drawing (AM) and Ceramics (PM)

Week 5 (August 5- August 9): Graphic Design (AM) and Photography (PM)

Week 6 (August 12- August 16): Music Appreciation & Genre Studies (AM) and Music Composition & Production (PM)

Each scholarship application is reviewed by a Selection Committee and need is determined by Situational or Financial Need. The $50 deposit is non-refundable.
