Collaborating with Big Spoon Kitchen and produced by SLC Arts CouncilTable is Set brings you dinner and a show! Actors of Table is Set will bring you dinner and put on a performance around your dining table. Hosts must have a working stovetop and oven.

About the Show

A group of former college friends reunite for what should be a simple dinner, but the evening quickly unravels into confession, comedy, and quiet catastrophe. Blending dark humor, audience interaction, and the quiet terror of being truly seen, the play asks:
What do we owe the people who once knew us best?
When does connection become surveillance?
And how do we reinvent ourselves in a room full of ghosts dressed as friends?

Presented by The Wild Theater Collective, a community of theater-makers, dancers, and activists committed to creating work rooted in place, purpose, and possibility.

    • Thursday, March 12th
    • Tuesday, March 17th
  • Time: All performances start at 5:30PM.

Arrival time: The actors will arrive to start the performance 5:30 PM. We will enter in character and the fun starts right from the top!
Space needs: Please have a cleared table and enough seating for all guests. A dining table or large surface works best. Take out some bowls, utensils and small plates. We will be serving soup, bread and a simple dessert.
Audience: This performance works best with the group size you selected at purchase. Please let us know ahead of time if anything has changed.
Food: Eating is part of the experience. Please order your meal from Big Spoon Kitchen the week prior to the performance date (for example, if your performance is on Thursday, March 10, order by Thursday, March 3rd.)
Pets & Kiddos: We love animals! However, if possible, please plan for pets to be in another room during the performance. Your kiddos and small humans are welcome to be in the mix (although this will likely either go over their heads and/or feel massively cringe).
Timing: The performance runs approximately 60 minutes, depending on audience engagement.
Most importantly: come as you are. This is a funny, intimate reunion-style event built around shared space, good food, conversation, and a little bit of chaos. You don’t need to host, just open the door.

Location: Your Home
