Summer Art Program 2026

SLC Arts invites students from across the county to register for their 6-week Summer Art Program in Potsdam! This program is made possible through funding from the St. Lawrence County Youth Bureau.

The Summer Art Program will run from July 6th to August 7th, Monday-Friday. Morning sessions will run from 9 to 12 pm and afternoon sessions will run from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. Registration is $100/week for half-days, or $175/week for full days. Ages 11-17.
Kids week will run 9AM-3PM, $200/week or $100/week for scholarship participants.

All registrations include a $50 non-refundable deposit/child/week. If registering for multiple weeks, multiple deposits are required. 

Week 1 (July 6- July 10): Puppetry (AM) and Textiles (PM)

Week 2 (July 14- July 18): Podcasting (AM) and Zines (PM)

Week 3 (July 21- July 25): Drawing (AM) and Ceramics (PM)

Week 4 (July 28- August 1): Watercolor (AM) and Cardboard Taxidermy (PM)

Week 5 (August 4- August 8): Printmaking (AM) and Woodworking (PM)

Week 6 (August 10-14): Kids Week (Ages 5-10), 9AM-3PM (no half day option)

Each scholarship application is reviewed by a Selection Committee and need is determined by Situational or Financial Need. The $50 deposit is non-refundable.

SLC Arts does not offer refunds or transfers for concerts, events, vendor registrations, or shop products.

With seven (7) days notice, we may offer a 50% refund or transfer to an equal-value class.

Closer to the class date, no refunds or transfers are available, but we can provide a donation receipt upon request for the class registration fee.
